Saudi Scholarship Eligibility for Pakistani Students 2026: Age, Marks, CGPA & Requirements
Can Pakistani students apply for fully funded scholarships in Saudi Arabia in 2026?
Yes. Pakistani students can apply for Saudi scholarship programs available to international students, provided they meet the eligibility requirements of the selected university and program.
But being a Pakistani student, having good marks or meeting the general age requirement does not automatically make you eligible for every Saudi scholarship.
Your eligibility can depend on:
- Age
- Previous qualification
- Academic subjects
- Marks or CGPA
- Intended degree level
- Previous field of study
- Language requirements
- Passport
- Medical requirements
- Supporting documents
- University-specific requirements
- Individual program requirements
The Saudi Ministry of Education's general guidance for international scholarship students sets broad admission conditions, while individual universities may apply additional requirements to particular programs.

Saudi Scholarship Eligibility 2026: Quick Answer
Here is the simplest way to understand the basic academic progression.
| You Want to Apply For | Typical Previous Qualification | Main Questions to Check |

Saudi Scholarship Age Limit 2026
Age is one of the most important Saudi scholarship eligibility criteria and one of the areas where students frequently receive conflicting information.
The Saudi Ministry of Education's general admission guidance for non-Saudi international scholarship students gives the following age conditions:
| Degree Level | General Age Requirement |
|---|---|
| Bachelor’s | 17–25 years |
| Master’s | Maximum 30 years |
| PhD | Maximum 35 years |
The Ministry states that an undergraduate scholarship student should generally be at least 17 and no more than 25, while the maximum is 30 for Master's and 35 for doctoral study.
However, applicants should still check the specific university and program conditions before applying.
Saudi Scholarship Age Limit for Bachelor’s
For Bachelor’s scholarships, the Ministry's general rule is:
Minimum age: 17 years
Maximum age: 25 years
For example:
- Age 18 → within the general age range
- Age 21 → within the general age range
- Age 24 → within the general age range
- Age 26 → outside the general undergraduate scholarship range
Being within this range does not automatically guarantee eligibility. You must still meet academic and program requirements. For undergraduate document guidelines, see our Bachelor Scholarship Applications Document Guide.
Saudi Scholarship Age Limit for Master’s
The general maximum age stated for Master's scholarship applicants is 30 years.
A 27-year-old Pakistani BS graduate may fall within the general age requirement, but the university will still evaluate Bachelor’s degree relevance, CGPA, and prerequisites. Review our Masters Scholarship Documents Guide for details.
Saudi Scholarship Age Limit for PhD
The general maximum age stated for doctoral scholarship applicants is 35 years. PhD applicants should expect emphasis on research fit and supervisor availability.
Minimum Percentage & CGPA for Saudi Scholarship 2026
There is no single universal percentage or CGPA for every Saudi scholarship. Statements claiming a strict 60%, 70%, 80%, or 3.0 CGPA apply across all programs are overly generalized.
Check individual university criteria. For Master’s and PhD applicants, academic compatibility matters as much as your marks.
Saudi Scholarship Requirements for Pakistani Bachelor’s Students
Pakistani students applying for Bachelor's programs may hold FSc Pre-Engineering, FSc Pre-Medical, ICS, FA, A-Level, or equivalent qualifications.
