CHECK 1: Does Your Name Exactly Match Your Passport?

Your application name should match your passport: First name, Middle name, Family/surname, Spelling, and Order of names.

For example: Passport: Muhammad Usama Khan
Application: Mohammad Osama Khan

These should not be ignored simply because the names “sound the same.” Use your official document spelling. Also compare your passport with your degree, transcript, Matric/FSc certificates, and supporting documents.

CHECK 2: Is Your Date of Birth Correct?

Check Day + Month + Year. Do not rely only on memory—compare the application directly with your passport. A simple mistake such as 05/08/2002 instead of 08/05/2002 can create a major identity inconsistency.

CHECK 3: Is Your Nationality Correct?

Pakistani applicants should ensure that their nationality is entered correctly. Do not confuse Nationality, Country of residence, and Country of birth. Read the field label carefully.

This matters because Saudi scholarship programs can have Male-only, Female-only, or Co-educational eligibility. Your personal profile and selected program must be consistent.

CHECK 5: Check Your Passport Number Character by Character

This is one of the highest-priority checks. Compare the application with the passport character by character. Look for mistakes involving 0 and O, 1 and I, missing digits, extra digits, old passport numbers, or typing errors. The official FAQ does not provide a general self-service method for changing submitted passport information.

Check your passport expiry date before submitting. Official Study in Saudi educational-visa conditions require a valid passport with sufficient validity for the intended entry period.

Your email is used for account notifications, application communication, and password recovery. Check every letter and verify you can access the inbox.

Check country code, mobile number, and missing/extra digits. Contact details can be edited after submission, but it is much better to submit them correctly the first time.

Confirm whether your previous qualification is entered as Secondary / Higher Secondary, Bachelor's, Master's, or MS/MPhil. Do not accidentally mix up qualification levels.

Use the title shown on your official academic record (e.g. BS Computer Science or Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering).

CHECK 11: Is Your Institution Name Correct?

Check the exact name of your University, College, Board, or Awarding institution. Follow the portal's field requirements carefully.

CHECK 12: Are Your Marks, Percentage or CGPA Correct?

Never estimate. Use your official transcript or marks sheet. If your CGPA is 3.18, do not enter 3.8. If your percentage is 78.4%, do not round it to 80% unless explicitly required.

CHECK 13: Did You Enter the Correct CGPA Scale?

3.2 / 4.0 is very different from 3.2 / 5.0. Make sure obtained GPA, maximum GPA, percentage, and grade go into the correct fields without manual unrequested conversions.

Check your exact academic record. Do not confuse final examination date, result date, degree issue date, or graduation date.
